• Project Title: Reproducing Research Paper on Outlier Detection in General Spatial Models (Nov-Dec'2023)

  Description:
  This project involved reproducing the research paper "Outlier Detection and Accommodation in General Spatial Models" by Xiaowen Dai, Libin Jin, Anqi Shi, and Lei Shi. The paper focuses on detecting and accommodating outliers in spatial autoregressive models and spatial error models using mean-shift and variance-weight methodologies. Key contributions include deriving test statistics for multiple outliers, proposing detection procedures, and defining diagnostic measures like standardized residuals and leverage. The project included implementing and testing these methods through simulations and real-world examples to validate their effectiveness.
• Project Title: Predictive Time Series Analysis and Model Comparison (Aug-Nov'2023)

  Description:
  After conducting various checks including missing value imputation, assessing trends and seasonality, and estimating time series components, we proceeded to fit both classical ARIMA models and LSTM models for comparison. Finally, we employed a long strangle trading strategy to culminate our analysis.

  Description:
  As part of a mini project, I conducted a concise 4P analysis of Paper Boat Company, a leading beverage brand specializing in traditional Indian flavors. The analysis focused on Product, Price, Place, and Promotion strategies. Through this project, I gained valuable insights into their marketing approach, product differentiation, pricing strategies, distribution channels, and promotional efforts. This experience enhanced my understanding of market dynamics and marketing strategies in the beverage industry.

• Project Title: Data Visualization of Pharmaceutical Companies (Oct-Nov'2022)

  Leveraged web scraping tools such as rvest and R programming to extract comprehensive data from pharmaceutical companies. Conducted thorough data preparation and cleansing to ensure accuracy and reliability. Developed an interactive Shiny app that provides insightful visualizations and analysis of the pharmaceutical sector and its growth trends. Showcased the ability to apply advanced data analysis techniques to draw meaningful conclusions from complex datasets.
